At Re-Imagine Therapy, I specialize in treating individuals across all stages of their life.

Whether you’re a young adult trying out therapy for the first time, or returning after a hiatus, or maybe you’re just interested in trying something new, Re-Imagine Therapy can help.

I HAVE EXPERIENCE TREATING:

I know no two people are alike, which is why I don’t practice a one-size-fits all model. When I work with a client, I utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities. I’m highly experienced in EMDR, CBT, and DBT.

Therapy made for you

When we experience trauma, our brains may process the information incorrectly, resulting in ongoing emotional distress. EMDR is a highly effective therapeutic model designed to target and address trauma. EMDR therapy involves clients briefly revisiting traumatic experiences while receiving bilateral stimulation, often through eye movements. This innovative method enables individuals to process and reframe traumatic memories, leading to significant emotional relief and resolution.

Research shows that EMDR can be useful in treating disorders such as anxiety, depression, OCD, chronic pain, addictions, and other distressing life experiences. Some studies suggest it is as effective or may even be superior to treating trauma with traditional SSRIs and medications. It’s a method used by millions across the world, and one I’ve seen have a tremendous effect on clients.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, or CBT, is a popular modality in contemporary therapy for a reason. This tried and true method works to help change thought patterns and develop strategies to cope with difficult situations.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, or DBT, is a type of talk therapy that helps you focus on mindfulness and find emotional regulation by identifying and understanding the way certain emotions contribute to specific patterns of behavior. DBT is considered a multifaceted therapy to help those who are experiencing emotional distress and might feel unable to sit with the discomfort of negative emotions.
